Dear Parish Council,

I hope you are well.

I am writing to invite your support for the Daventry Constituency Small Business Award, which celebrates the fantastic small businesses that make such an important contribution to our community. These awards recognise the entrepreneurs who work hard every day to keep our local economy thriving and provide an opportunity to show our appreciation for their dedication.

Nominations are now open and will close on 5 December. The overall winner, determined by the business receiving the highest number of nominations, will be announced on Small Business Saturday. All businesses that receive a nomination will also be recognised for their contribution to the local community. Taking part is simple. Residents can nominate more than one business, but each business may only be nominated once per person. Nominations can include independent shops, home-based enterprises, market stallholders, mobile service providers, or any other small business that contributes to life in our constituency.

I would be grateful if you could help promote the award within your parish through newsletters, social media www.facebook.com/share/v/17DkWyhRe1/, noticeboards, or word of mouth. I also encourage local councillors to nominate businesses you feel deserve recognition.
